The main Republic Day celebration is held in New Delhi at Rajpath before the President of India. During this grand parade, various regiments of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force march past in all their finery. Tableaux from various states of India are also showcased, displaying the country's rich cultural heritage and progress in different fields. Gallantry awards and medals are also presented on this day.
